No. Dr. Sando explains your treatment, risks and aftercare in English. Other staff use translation devices, and your consent form and aftercare instructions are in English.

How do I book?

Send us our English inquiry form with your dates in Japan, the treatments you are interested in and three preferred dates. We reply by email to confirm your appointment. All visits are by appointment.

Can I just have a consultation?

Yes. You can book a consultation only, and decide whether to go ahead after you have heard about the cost, recovery and risks.

Can I have treatment on the same day as my consultation?

Treatment

I don’t know which treatment to choose.

At your consultation, the doctor checks your skin and concerns and suggests treatments based on your budget and priorities. You can also tell us your concerns in your inquiry.

Will I see a doctor?

Yes. The doctor manages your care from start to finish and decides your treatment plan.

Who performs the treatment?

Depending on the treatment, a doctor or a nurse. Nurses must complete our in-house training before they can treat patients. For some treatments, such as Sofwave, you can choose treatment by a doctor.

Are your products genuine?

Yes. All medicines and materials are purchased through authorized distribution channels. We never dilute products beyond the specified amount.

I’m worried about injection pain and bruising.

We use our own injection method and a vibration device to keep pain and bruising as low as possible. How you feel and recover varies from person to person.

Can I have anesthesia?

For some treatments, yes. Whether it is available and the cost depend on the treatment, so ask at your consultation.

Is there downtime?

It depends on the treatment. See “Risks and side effects” on each treatment page.

Can I wear makeup right after treatment?

It depends on the treatment. For some you can wear makeup the same day, for others you need to wait. See each treatment page.

Can I have more than one treatment on the same day?

Depending on the combination, yes. Some combinations need a gap between treatments. The doctor makes the final decision at your examination.

What if I have a concern after treatment?

Follow-up visits for the same treatment are free. After you return home, you can email us with questions. If you have a serious symptom, see a doctor near you straight away and let us know.

Should I come without makeup?

If you arrive without makeup, we can start sooner. We also have cleansers at the clinic, so you can remove your makeup when you arrive.

Can men be treated?

Yes. Many men visit us, and most treatments, including acne, pores and sagging, are available for men.

Can I be treated if I am under 18?

Patients under 18 must come with a parent or guardian and bring a signed consent form. Some treatments are not available.
