HIFU (Ultraformer III)

Medical HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) focuses ultrasound at a chosen depth below the skin. The heat targets sagging of the face and a loose jawline.

Some people feel tighter right after treatment from heat contraction, but changes from collagen remodeling appear gradually over 1–3 months.

At ECLAT CLINIC OMIYA, we use the Ultraformer III and adjust the layers, energy and distribution of shots to your skin thickness, where you sag, fat, bone structure, asymmetry and how you feel pain.

• A tighter jawline. Heat at deeper layers targets slackness from the lower cheeks to the jawline. The new collagen also helps prevent sagging.
• A cleaner line under the chin. The full face + under the chin plan (600 shots) extends treatment under the chin. If there is a lot of fat, we explain the limits of HIFU alone and may suggest fat-dissolving injections.
• Firmness, pores and fine lines. HIFU Shower treats shallower layers (1.5 mm and 2.0 mm) to improve firmness, pores, fine lines and smoothness.
• Around the eyes. Eye lift HIFU uses a cartridge suited to the eye area for loose skin below the brows and at the outer corners of the eyes. We confirm the area at your examination, taking care around the eyeballs, bones and nerves.

The Ultraformer III, made by CLASSYS in Korea, is a medical device that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound. Interchangeable cartridges for the face (1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 3.0 mm and 4.5 mm) target different depths.

• Custom HIFU: uses all cartridges to treat the skin and fat down to the SMAS layer, in three passes, choosing cartridges for your skin, fat, bone structure and each area.
• HIFU Shower and eye lift: for tightening shallower layers and improving skin quality. Suited to fine lines and pores.
• Perfect HIFU: custom HIFU + HIFU Shower + eye lift, to tighten every part of the face.

• Tailored to your face. We treat thoroughly where it is needed and carefully near nerves and bone. We do not treat cheeks that hollow easily with uniformly high energy.
• 450 and 600 shots as standard. These counts cover the jawline, cheeks, beside the mouth and under the chin. Too few shots leave gaps. Too much energy in one place raises the risk of pain, burns, nerve symptoms and hollow cheeks.
• Designed by the doctor, delivered by a nurse. The doctor confirms that HIFU suits you and designs the treatment, then a nurse treats you according to your skin, sagging, fat and bone structure.

• HIFU: focuses ultrasound to tighten, including deeper layers.
• Thread lift: threads move and support tissue, for a more visible lift. Swelling, bruising and puckering can occur.
• Fat-dissolving injections: for local fat, such as under the chin.

If you have a lot of loose skin, deep fat is the main cause, or you want a clearly visible lift, HIFU alone has limits. We identify the cause at your examination and may combine treatments.

• HIFU for sagging: watch the change over 1–3 months, then a second session after about 3–6 months.
• HIFU Shower and other shallow treatments: sometimes monthly, depending on your goals and skin.

We plan sessions so that strong settings are not repeated too often.

1. Doctor’s examination and design.The doctor explains which areas to avoid, the change you can expect and the main risks, then suggests a plan.
2. Cleansing and photos.We remove makeup and sunscreen and take photos if needed.
3. Marking and treatment.We mark the area, apply ultrasound gel, and a nurse treats you, adjusting depth, energy and shot distribution.
4. Check and aftercare.We check for redness, swelling, pain and numbness, and explain what to do on the day and which symptoms to contact us about (severe pain, muscle weakness, blisters, changes in skin color).

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding
• You have an active infection, severe dermatitis, an open wound, severe acne or herpes in the area
• You have a metal plate, gold threads, silicone or an electronic device implanted in the area
• You use an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker
• You have serious heart disease, an autoimmune disease, a bleeding disorder or poorly controlled diabetes
• You take blood thinners or antiplatelet medicines (do not stop them yourself; talk to the doctor first)
• You recently had surgery, a thread lift, fillers or another heat treatment in the area and still have swelling or inflammation
• You have a sensory disorder or a facial nerve condition
• The doctor decides the treatment is not suitable for you

• You can wash your face and wear makeup from the same day if you have no blisters or strong redness. Do not rub the area. Use a gentle moisturizer and sunscreen.
• On the day, avoid long baths, saunas, hard exercise, heavy drinking and strong massage.
• While you have redness or warmth, pause harsh skincare such as retinol, high-strength vitamin C, peels and scrubs.
• Contact us if pain or swelling gets worse, blisters, scabs or changes in skin color appear, or numbness or difficulty moving your face continues. If you are already home, see a doctor near you and let us know.
• Ask the doctor about timing before your next HIFU, other heat treatments, a thread lift or fillers.
